వర్షాభావంపై రైతులకు అవగాహన కల్పించాలి: సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి

తెలంగాణలో ప్రాజెక్టుల మెయింటెనెన్స్ పనులపై ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఆరా తీశారు. గేట్లు, నిర్వహణ పనులు యుద్ధప్రాతిపదికన పూర్తి చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు. ప్రాజెక్టుల మెయింటెనెన్స్కు అవసరమైన నిధులు తక్షణమే విడుదల చేయాలని ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు. విపత్తు నిర్వహణ శాఖ వద్ద ఉన్న రూ.1000కోట్లను నిబంధనల ప్రకారం వినియోగించాలన్నారు. దెబ్బతిన్న రోడ్లు, కూలిపోయిన వంతెనల నిర్మాణానికి అవసరమైన నిధులు వెంటనే విడుదల చేయాలని ఆదేశించారు. విపత్తుల సమయంలో ప్రాణ నష్టం, ఆస్తి నష్టం, పశు నష్టం వాటిల్లినప్పుడు తక్షణమే అధికారులు స్పందించాలని సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఆదేశాలు జారీ చేశారు. ఈ సమావేశంలో వ్యవసాయ, నీటి పారుదల, పట్టణాభివృద్ధి, పంచాయతీ రాజ్, ఆరోగ్య, హోమ్, హైడ్రా, విపత్తు నిర్వహణ, అగ్నిమాపక శాఖల అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.

CM Revanth Reddy Reviews Monsoon Preparedness in Telangana
A review meeting on monsoon preparedness was held at the Secretariat under the chairmanship of Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy. Officials from the Meteorological Department gave a PowerPoint presentation on expected rainfall during the southwest monsoon, the impact of El Niño, and other weather-related factors.
The Chief Minister directed officials to create awareness among farmers about possible drought conditions. He advised them to educate farmers on cultivating crops that require less water and stressed the importance of crop diversification and crop rotation.
Focus on Project Maintenance and Disaster Management
CM Revanth Reddy also reviewed the maintenance works of irrigation projects across the state. He instructed officials to complete gate repairs and other maintenance works on a war footing. He further ordered the immediate release of funds required for project maintenance.
The Chief Minister directed that the ₹1,000 crore available with the Disaster Management Department be utilized as per regulations. He also instructed officials to immediately release funds for the reconstruction of damaged roads and collapsed bridges.
Emphasizing disaster response, CM Revanth Reddy ordered officials to act promptly in cases of loss of life, property damage, or livestock loss during natural calamities.
Officials from the Agriculture, Irrigation, Municipal Administration, Panchayat Raj, Health, Home, HYDRAA, Disaster Management, and Fire Services departments attended the meeting.
