తెలంగాణలో టెన్షన్: రాంచందర్ రావు హౌస్ అరెస్ట్ – రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఇంటి ముట్టడికి బీజేపీ పిలుపు
తెలంగాణలో రాజకీయ ఉద్రిక్తతలు మరింత వేడెక్కాయి. తెలంగాణ బీజేపీ అధ్యక్షుడు రాంచందర్ రావు హౌస్ అరెస్ట్ చేయడం రాష్ట్ర రాజకీయాల్లో హాట్ టాపిక్గా మారింది. సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డి నివాసాన్ని ముట్టడించేందుకు బీజేపీ పిలుపునిచ్చిన నేపథ్యంలో పోలీసులు ముందస్తు చర్యలు చేపట్టారు.
ఈరోజు ఉదయం పోలీసులు రాంచందర్ రావు ఇంటికి చేరుకుని హౌస్ అరెస్ట్ చేశారు. లోక్సభలో మహిళా రిజర్వేషన్ బిల్లును కాంగ్రెస్ అడ్డుకుందనే ఆరోపణలతో బీజేపీ నిరసనలు, రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఇంటి ముట్టడి కార్యక్రమానికి సిద్ధమైంది. దీంతో హైదరాబాద్లో పోలీసులు భారీగా మోహరించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా రాంచందర్ రావు తీవ్ర ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ఏబీఎన్ ఆంధ్రజ్యోతితో మాట్లాడుతూ, మహిళా రిజర్వేషన్ బిల్లు విషయంలో కాంగ్రెస్ వైఖరిని నిరసిస్తూ దేశవ్యాప్తంగా ఆందోళనలకు పిలుపునిచ్చామని తెలిపారు. తనను హౌస్ అరెస్ట్ చేసినా కూడా బీజేపీ కార్యకర్తలు రేవంత్ రెడ్డి ఇంటి ముట్టడి చేస్తారని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
అంతేకాకుండా కాంగ్రెస్ పార్టీపై తీవ్ర విమర్శలు గుప్పించిన ఆయన, “దేశంలో మళ్లీ రాచరిక పాలన తీసుకురావాలని కాంగ్రెస్ ప్రయత్నిస్తోంది” అని ఆరోపించారు. నారీ శక్తికి ద్రోహం చేసిన కాంగ్రెస్ను వదిలిపెట్టం అని హెచ్చరించారు. కొంతమంది వర్గాలకు మేలు చేసేందుకు కాంగ్రెస్ ఈ రాజకీయ డ్రామా ఆడుతోందని అన్నారు.

Political tensions in Telangana have intensified sharply as Ramchander Rao house arrest triggered a major escalation in the ongoing Telangana BJP protest. The move comes after the BJP announced a Revanth Reddy house siege in Hyderabad, accusing Congress of blocking the Women Reservation Bill in the Lok Sabha.
Early this morning, police officials reached Ramchander Rao’s residence and placed him under house arrest to prevent him from participating in the BJP protest in Telangana. Authorities cited law and order concerns, as the BJP had called for large-scale mobilization of party workers to march towards the residence of Revanth Reddy. Following the call for the Revanth Reddy house siege, security was tightened across key areas in Hyderabad, with additional police forces deployed to avoid any untoward incidents.
The BJP alleged that the Congress party deliberately obstructed the Women Reservation Bill, which aims to ensure greater representation for women in legislative bodies. Reacting strongly, Ramchander Rao condemned the police action and termed his house arrest as “undemocratic.” He asserted that such steps would not deter the Telangana BJP protest and warned that party cadres would continue their agitation. “Even if I am under house arrest, BJP leaders and workers will carry forward the Revanth Reddy house siege,” he said.
He further accused the Congress party of betraying women, stating that blocking the Women Reservation Bill amounts to an insult to “Nari Shakti.” Rao emphasized that the BJP would not remain silent on this issue and would intensify its agitation until the Congress clarifies its stand.
In his remarks, he also criticized Congress governance, alleging that the party is promoting a regressive political approach. He claimed that Congress is attempting to create divisions for political gain and accused it of playing “vote bank politics.” He urged the people of Telangana and the country to recognize what he described as the “double standards” of the Congress in the ongoing Congress vs BJP political clash.
Meanwhile, BJP leaders across Telangana have begun mobilizing supporters, and protests are being reported in several districts. The situation remains tense as police continue preventive detentions to maintain order.
