గత ఐదేళ్ల **వైసీపీ పాలన (YSRCP Government)**లో శ్రీకాకుళం జిల్లాలో సాగునీటి వ్యవస్థ (Irrigation System) పూర్తిగా నిర్లక్ష్యం పాలైందని ఆయన విమర్శించారు. 2010లో ఏర్పాటైన వంశధార ట్రైబ్యునల్ (Vamsadhara Tribunal) తర్వాత కూడా నేరడి బ్యారేజ్ అంశం పరిష్కారం కాలేదని తెలిపారు.
నేరడి బ్యారేజ్ సమస్యకు పరిష్కారం
2024లో కేంద్ర–రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వాల సమన్వయంతో నేరడి బ్యారేజ్ (Neradi Barrage) సమస్యపై దృష్టి సారించినట్లు రామ్మోహన్ నాయుడు తెలిపారు. ఒడిశాలో కూడా బీజేపీ ప్రభుత్వం రావడంతో సమస్య పరిష్కారానికి మార్గం సుగమమైందన్నారు.
వంశధార ట్రైబ్యునల్ తీర్పు (Vamsadhara Tribunal Verdict) ఆధారంగా గెజిట్ నోటిఫికేషన్ తీసుకువచ్చామని, దీర్ఘకాలంగా పెండింగ్లో ఉన్న ఈ సమస్యకు పరిష్కారం లభించిందని వెల్లడించారు.

- రైల్వే జోన్ (Railway Zone Andhra Pradesh) సాధన మరో మైలురాయి
- ఉద్దానం ప్రాంతంలోని 7 రైల్వే స్టేషన్లు కొత్త జోన్లో చేర్పు
- తిరుపతి భక్తుల కోసం హంసఫర్ ఎక్స్ప్రెస్ (Humsafar Express) శ్రీకాకుళం నుంచి ప్రారంభం

రాజధాని విషయంలో వైసీపీ ప్రభుత్వం గందరగోళం సృష్టించిందని రామ్మోహన్ నాయుడు ఆరోపించారు. అమరావతి (Amaravati Capital) పూర్తయితే నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు పేరు చిరస్థాయిగా నిలుస్తుందనే భయంతోనే వైసీపీ అడ్డంకులు సృష్టించిందన్నారు.
అదేవిధంగా విశాఖ రాజధాని (Visakhapatnam Capital) పేరుతో భూదందాలు జరిగాయని తీవ్ర ఆరోపణలు చేశారు.

Srikakulam Irrigation Development Vamsadhara Project & Neradi Barrage Boost District Growth
Srikakulam district, known for its agriculture-based economy, is set to witness major irrigation development in Srikakulam as the government focuses on strengthening Srikakulam irrigation infrastructure. Union Minister Kinjarapu Ram Mohan Naidu stated that ensuring irrigation water supply in Srikakulam remains the top priority. He emphasized that effective utilization of the Vamsadhara Project will transform Srikakulam into a fertile agricultural hub.
The minister criticized the previous YSRCP government for neglecting the irrigation system in Srikakulam, stating that the Srikakulam irrigation crisis worsened over the past five years. The minister alleged that Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy created confusion over the capital issue during his tenure. He stated that completing Amaravati Capital would strengthen the state’s growth and attract investments, while the opposition hindered Andhra Pradesh development.
He further accused opposition leaders of land scams under the guise of Visakhapatnam Capital, emphasizing that the current government is focused on development in Andhra Pradesh rather than politics.
