ఏపీ తీరంలో తమిళనాడు బోట్లు అక్రమ వేటపై కఠిన చర్యలు – టాస్క్ ఫోర్స్ గస్తీ ముమ్మరం
ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ తీర ప్రాంతంలో అక్రమ చేపల వేట, తమిళనాడు బోట్లు, ఏపీ మత్స్యకారులు, బంగాళాఖాతం ఫిషింగ్, ఫిషింగ్ టాస్క్ ఫోర్స్ అంశాలు తీవ్ర చర్చనీయాంశంగా మారాయి. ఈ నేపథ్యంలో రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం కఠిన చర్యలు చేపట్టింది.
గనులు, ఎక్సైజ్ శాఖ మంత్రి కొల్లు రవీంద్ర మాట్లాడుతూ, ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్ తీర ప్రాంతంలోని బంగాళాఖాతం ఫిషింగ్ జోన్లోకి తమిళనాడు, పుదుచ్చేరి బోట్లు అక్రమంగా ప్రవేశించి చేపల వేట నిర్వహిస్తున్నాయని ఆరోపించారు. ఈ అక్రమ చేపల వేట వల్ల ఏపీ మత్స్యకారులు తీవ్రంగా నష్టపోతున్నారని పేర్కొన్నారు. అందుకే ఈ సమస్యను అరికట్టేందుకు ప్రత్యేకంగా ఫిషింగ్ టాస్క్ ఫోర్స్ను రంగంలోకి దింపినట్లు తెలిపారు.
ప్రస్తుతం ఆధునిక సాంకేతికతతో కూడిన స్పీడ్ బోట్లు ద్వారా ఏపీ తీర ప్రాంత గస్తీను 24 గంటలు కొనసాగిస్తున్నామని చెప్పారు. సీఎం చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు ఆదేశాల మేరకు తమిళనాడు బోట్లు అక్రమ ప్రవేశంపై జీరో టాలరెన్స్ విధానాన్ని అమలు చేస్తున్నట్లు స్పష్టం చేశారు. ఇప్పటికే పలు తమిళనాడు ఫిషింగ్ బోట్లును పట్టుకున్నట్లు అధికార వర్గాలు వెల్లడించాయి.
మరోవైపు, ఏపీ మత్స్యకారుల సంక్షేమం కోసం కేంద్ర సహకారంతో ప్రత్యేక నిధులు తీసుకువచ్చి సబ్సిడీపై ఆధునిక ఫిషింగ్ పరికరాలు అందిస్తున్నామని మంత్రి కొల్లు రవీంద్ర తెలిపారు. మత్స్యకారుల అభివృద్ధి, ఫిషింగ్ హార్బర్ అభివృద్ధి, తీర ప్రాంత భద్రతపై ప్రభుత్వం కట్టుదిట్టమైన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటోందని చెప్పారు.
ప్రతిపక్షాలు చేస్తున్న ఆరోపణలను ఖండించిన మంత్రి, జువ్వలదిన్నె ఫిషింగ్ హార్బర్పై తప్పుడు ప్రచారం జరుగుతోందని ఆగ్రహం వ్యక్తం చేశారు. ఈ హార్బర్ వద్ద సాగర్ డిఫెన్స్కు కేవలం 7.5 ఎకరాలు మాత్రమే కేటాయిస్తున్నామని స్పష్టం చేశారు. అలాగే పులికాట్ సరస్సు పూడిక తొలగింపు, కృష్ణపట్నం పోర్ట్ జెట్టీలు నిర్మాణం వంటి కీలక ప్రాజెక్టులు కూడా వేగంగా కొనసాగుతున్నాయని తెలిపారు.
మెరైన్ ఐజీ గోపీనాథ్ మాట్లాడుతూ, ఏపీ తీర ప్రాంత భద్రత కోసం ఇప్పటికే 4 బోట్లతో ఫిషింగ్ టాస్క్ ఫోర్స్ గస్తీ కొనసాగుతుందని, త్వరలో మరో 4 బోట్లు కూడా చేరనున్నాయని చెప్పారు. ఇటీవల కాలంలో ఇతర రాష్ట్రాలకు చెందిన పలు అక్రమ ఫిషింగ్ బోట్లును పట్టుకున్నట్లు వెల్లడించారు.
అధికారులు జువ్వలదిన్నె హార్బర్ వద్ద సమీక్ష నిర్వహించి, సముద్రంలో సుమారు 30 నాటికల్ మైళ్ల వరకు వెళ్లి పరిస్థితిని పరిశీలించారు. బంగాళాఖాతం అక్రమ చేపల వేట నియంత్రణ, ఏపీ మత్స్యకారుల రక్షణ, తీర ప్రాంత భద్రతపై ప్రభుత్వం మరింత కఠిన చర్యలు తీసుకునే దిశగా అడుగులు వేస్తోంది.

AP Coast Illegal Fishing Tamil Nadu Boats Trigger High Alert, Task Force Intensifies Patrols
The AP coast illegal fishing issue has escalated as the Andhra Pradesh government takes strict action against Tamil Nadu boats entering the Bay of Bengal fishing zone. Mines and Excise Minister Kollu Ravindra stated that illegal fishing on AP coast by Tamil Nadu and Puducherry boats is causing serious damage to AP fisheries and AP fishermen livelihoods.
He alleged that Tamil Nadu fishing boats are illegally crossing into the Andhra Pradesh coast and exploiting marine resources through illegal fishing in Bay of Bengal. To curb this, the government has deployed a special fishing task force AP, equipped with modern speed boats for coastal security, to monitor and control illegal fishing activities.
The minister emphasized that protecting AP fisheries sector, AP fishermen, and preventing Tamil Nadu boats illegal fishing is a top priority. He added that the government is taking strong steps under the leadership of Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu to strengthen coastal security in Andhra Pradesh and eliminate illegal fishing on AP coast.
To support AP fishermen welfare, the state is securing funds from the central government and distributing subsidy fishing equipment to boost the fishing industry in Andhra Pradesh. He also dismissed opposition allegations regarding the Juvvaladinne fishing harbour, clarifying that only 7.5 acres are allocated for Sagar Defence purposes.
Further, development works like Pulicat lake dredging, Krishnapatnam port jetties, and fishing harbour infrastructure in AP are being accelerated to strengthen the AP fisheries sector and improve coastal economy Andhra Pradesh.
Marine IG Gopinath stated that under the directions of CM Chandrababu Naidu, strict action is being taken against Tamil Nadu boats illegal entry and illegal fishing in AP waters. A 24/7 marine patrol AP coast has been intensified, with fishing task force teams actively monitoring the coastline.
