ఇటీవల జరిగిన పురపాలక ఎన్నికల్లో కూడా బీజేపీ తన ఉనికిని చాటింది. రెండు వార్డుల్లో పార్టీ అభ్యర్థులు గట్టి పోటీ ఇచ్చారు. కొందరు అభ్యర్థులు స్వల్ప ఓట్ల తేడాతో ఓడిపోయారు. మొత్తం పోలైన ఓట్లలో తొమ్మిది శాతం (1,659 ఓట్లు) సాధించడం పార్టీ ఎదుగుదలకు సంకేతమని విశ్లేషకులు అంటున్నారు.
గతంలో పరిగి అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో బీజేపీకి సాధారణంగా పది వేలలోపే ఓట్లు వచ్చేవి. అయితే ప్రస్తుతం పార్టీకి మద్దతు క్రమంగా పెరుగుతున్నట్లు కనిపిస్తోంది.
ఎవరికివారే కన్వీనర్లు.. పార్టీలో గ్రూపు రాజకీయాలు
పార్టీ జిల్లా కన్వీనర్గా ఉన్న కరణం ప్రహ్లాద్రావు పరిగికి చెందినవారే అయినప్పటికీ, ఆయన నియోజకవర్గంపై పెద్దగా దృష్టి సారించడం లేదని పార్టీ శ్రేణులు అసంతృప్తి వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నాయి. అలాగే చేవెళ్ల ఎంపీ విశ్వేశ్వర్రెడ్డి తన పరిధిలోని ఏడు నియోజకవర్గాల్లో పరిగిపై ప్రత్యేకంగా దృష్టి పెట్టడం లేదని కార్యకర్తలు చెబుతున్నారు.
నాయకత్వ లోపంతో పాటు ద్వితీయ శ్రేణి నాయకుల్లో గ్రూపు రాజకీయాలు పెరగడం కూడా పార్టీకి నష్టంగా మారుతోంది. ప్రస్తుతం అసెంబ్లీ కన్వీనర్గా ఇద్దరు, ముగ్గురు నాయకులు తామే కన్వీనర్ అని చెప్పుకుంటూ గ్రూపులుగా కొనసాగుతున్నారని పార్టీ శ్రేణులు అంటున్నాయి.
పరిగిలో పనిచేస్తున్న బీజేపీ నాయకులు
పరిగి నియోజకవర్గంలో ప్రస్తుతం వేముల పెంటయ్య, ఏవీ రాములు, జి. శ్రీనివాస్, ఘణపూర్ వెంకటయ్య గౌడ్, రాముయాదవ్, బి. రాంచందర్ వంటి నాయకులు పార్టీ కార్యక్రమాల్లో పాల్గొంటున్నారు.
గత అసెంబ్లీ ఎన్నికల్లో బీజేపీ అభ్యర్థిగా బి. మారుతికిరణ్ పోటీ చేశారు. అలాగే కేఎస్సార్ ట్రస్ట్ చైర్మన్ కె. శరత్కుమార్ రెడ్డి కూడా నియోజకవర్గంలో క్రియాశీలకంగా పనిచేస్తున్నారు. ఇటీవల బృంగి హరికృష్ణ కూడా బీజేపీలో చేరారు.
పార్టీ బలపడుతున్న సమయంలో ఐక్యత అవసరం

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is reportedly facing a leadership crisis in the Pargi Assembly constituency of Telangana. District convener Karanam Prahlad Rao, who belongs to Pargi, is reportedly not focusing much on the constituency. Similarly, Chevella MP Vishweshwar Reddy is also said to be paying limited attention to Pargi among the seven constituencies in his parliamentary segment.
Due to the absence of strong leadership, several second-level leaders have formed groups within the party. Reports indicate that two or three leaders are claiming themselves as Assembly conveners, leading to internal confusion and factionalism.
Local Leaders Active in the Constituency
Several BJP leaders including Vemula Pentayya, AV Ramulu, G. Srinivas, Ghanpur Venkatayya Goud, Ramu Yadav, and B. Ramchander are currently active in party activities in the constituency.
In the previous Assembly elections, B. Maruthi Kiran contested as the BJP candidate. Meanwhile, KSR Trust Chairman K. Sharath Kumar Reddy has also been actively working in the constituency. Recently, Brungi Harikrishna joined the BJP, adding to the party’s local leadership.
