హైదరాబాద్లోని గచ్చిబౌలి పోలీస్ స్టేషన్ పరిధిలో కల్తీ ఆహార పదార్థాలు తయారు చేసి మార్కెట్లో విక్రయిస్తున్న ముఠా గుట్టును పోలీసులు బట్టబయలు చేశారు. గడువు ముగిసిన వంట నూనెలు మరియు గోధుమ పిండిని తిరిగి ప్యాకింగ్ చేసి ( fake cooking oil) విక్రయిస్తున్న తండ్రీకొడుకులను మాదాపూర్ ఎస్వోటీ పోలీసులు అరెస్టు చేశారు.
పోలీసుల వివరాల ప్రకారం, వట్టినగులపల్లి ఇందిరమ్మ కాలనీలో ఉన్న శ్రీ జస్నాత్ ట్రేడర్స్ దుకాణంపై సోమవారం మాదాపూర్ ఎస్వోటీ పోలీసులు దాడులు నిర్వహించారు. ఈ దాడుల్లో గడువు ముగిసిన వివిధ కంపెనీల వంట నూనెలను సేకరించి, వాటిని సోయాబీన్ నూనెతో కలిపి కల్తీ వంట నూనె తయారు చేస్తున్నట్లు పోలీసులు గుర్తించారు.
అలాగే ఆ కల్తీ నూనెను ప్రముఖ బ్రాండ్ల పేర్లతో ప్యాక్ చేసి మార్కెట్లో విక్రయిస్తున్నట్లు వెల్లడైంది. ఇదే విధంగా గడువు ముగిసిన గోధుమ పిండిని వివిధ ప్రాంతాల నుంచి సేకరించి, ‘జస్నాత్ గోల్డ్ చక్కి అట్టా’ పేరుతో మళ్లీ ప్యాకింగ్ చేసి అమ్ముతున్నట్లు పోలీసులు గుర్తించారు.
దాడుల్లో సుమారు ₹10 లక్షల విలువైన 5,026 లీటర్ల కల్తీ వంట నూనె, అలాగే ₹3 లక్షల విలువైన 5,192 కిలోల గోధుమ పిండి స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్నారు. వీటితో పాటు వెయిటింగ్ మెషిన్, ఆయిల్ ఫిల్టర్ మెషిన్, గోధుమ ఫిల్టర్ మెషిన్ వంటి పరికరాలను కూడా పోలీసులు సీజ్ చేశారు.
స్వాధీనం చేసుకున్న మొత్తం వస్తువుల విలువ సుమారు ₹21 లక్షలుగా అంచనా వేశారు.
ఈ కేసులో రాజస్థాన్కు చెందిన భన్వర్ రామ్ జాట్ (46) మరియు అతని కుమారుడు అశోక్ కుమార్లను పోలీసులు అరెస్టు చేశారు. అనంతరం వారిని గచ్చిబౌలి పోలీస్ స్టేషన్కు తరలించి కేసు నమోదు చేసి దర్యాప్తు కొనసాగిస్తున్నారు.

Fake Branding to Sell Adulterated Oil

Similarly, the accused were collecting expired wheat flour from different areas and repackaging it under the brand name “Jasnath Gold Chakki Atta” before selling it to customers.

During the operation, police seized a large quantity of adulterated food products, including:
- 5,026 litres of adulterated cooking oil worth ₹10 lakh
- 5,192 kilograms of wheat flour worth ₹3 lakh
Machines and Equipment Confiscated
Police also seized several machines used in the illegal operation, including:
- Weighing machine
- Oil filter machine
- Wheat filter machine
The total value of seized items in the Hyderabad food adulteration case is estimated to be around ₹21 lakh.
Father and Son Arrested in Food Adulteration Case
Police arrested Bhanwar Ram Jat (46) from Rajasthan and his son Ashok Kumar for their role in the adulterated cooking oil and wheat flour racket in Hyderabad.
