తెలంగాణ రాజకీయాల్లో మరోసారి రైతు అంశం చర్చనీయాంశంగా మారింది. మాజీ మంత్రి, సిద్దిపేట ఎమ్మెల్యే హరీశ్రావు సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి ప్రభుత్వంపై తీవ్ర విమర్శలు గుప్పించారు. రైతులకు ఇచ్చే రైతుబంధు (Rythu Bandhu Scheme) విషయంలో ప్రభుత్వం విఫలమైందని ఆరోపించారు.
శనివారం కరీంనగర్ జిల్లాలోని చొప్పదండి నియోజకవర్గం గోపాలరావుపల్లి గ్రామంలో పర్యటించిన హరీశ్రావు పంటపొలాలను పరిశీలించారు. సాగునీరు లేక రైతులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న ఇబ్బందులను స్వయంగా తెలుసుకున్నారు. అనంతరం రైతులతో ముఖాముఖి సమావేశం నిర్వహించి ప్రభుత్వంపై తీవ్రస్థాయిలో విమర్శలు చేశారు.
రైతుబంధుపై సీఎం వ్యాఖ్యలు గుర్తుచేసిన హరీశ్రావు
గతంలో మూడు పంటలకు రైతుబంధు ఇవ్వాలని సీఎం రేవంత్రెడ్డి చెప్పారని హరీశ్రావు గుర్తు చేశారు. కానీ ఇప్పుడు ఆయన పాలనలో రైతులకు కనీసం ఒక పంటకైనా సరైన మద్దతు అందడం లేదని ఆరోపించారు.
రైతుల సమస్యలు పెరుగుతున్న సమయంలో ప్రభుత్వం స్పందించకపోవడం దురదృష్టకరమని అన్నారు. రైతులకు మద్దతు ఇవ్వకుండా రాజకీయ వ్యాఖ్యలు చేయడం సరైంది కాదని విమర్శించారు.
“కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలు రైతుల దగ్గరకు ఎలా వెళ్తారు?”
రైతులకు న్యాయం చేయని కాంగ్రెస్ నేతలు ఏ మొహం పెట్టుకుని రైతుల దగ్గరకు వెళ్తారని హరీశ్రావు ప్రశ్నించారు.
పోలీసుల రక్షణ లేకుండా ఎమ్మెల్యేలు, మంత్రులు ప్రజల మధ్యకి రావడానికి ధైర్యం ఉందా అని నిలదీశారు.
రైతుల సమస్యలు పరిష్కరించకుండా విమర్శలు చేయడం వల్లే ప్రజల్లో అసంతృప్తి పెరుగుతోందని ఆయన అన్నారు.

ఈ ప్రాజెక్టు వల్లే తెలంగాణలో వేల ఎకరాల్లో పంటలు పండుతున్నాయని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
హైదరాబాద్ నగరానికి తాగునీరు అందించడంలో కూడా కాళేశ్వరం ప్రాజెక్టు కీలక పాత్ర పోషిస్తోందని చెప్పారు.
ప్రాజెక్టు కూలిపోయిందని అనడం రాజకీయ ప్రయోజనాల కోసమేనని ఆరోపించారు.
మేడిగడ్డ పిల్లర్లను వెంటనే మరమ్మతు చేయాలని డిమాండ్
మేడిగడ్డ బ్యారేజ్ పిల్లర్ల సమస్యపై కూడా హరీశ్రావు స్పందించారు.
రేవంత్రెడ్డి ప్రభుత్వం వెంటనే మేడిగడ్డ పిల్లర్లను రిపేర్ చేయాలని డిమాండ్ చేశారు.
రెండేళ్లలో కనీసం పది వేల ఎకరాలకు కూడా సాగునీరు అందించలేదని ఆయన ప్రశ్నించారు.
