హైదరాబాద్, ఫిబ్రవరి 18: (BC Protest) ఎంపిటిసి, జడ్పిటిసి ఎన్నికల్లో బీసీలకు 42 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు అమలు చేయకపోతే రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా ఉద్యమాన్ని మరింత ఉధృతం చేస్తామని 14 బీసీ సంఘాలు ప్రకటించాయి. నగరంలోని ఓ హోటల్లో జరిగిన సమావేశంలో జాతీయ బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘం జాతీయ అధ్యక్షులు, రాజ్యసభ సభ్యులు ఆర్. కృష్ణయ్య , జాతీయ బీసీ సంక్షేమ సంఘం జాతీయ ఉపాధ్యక్షులు గుజ్జ సత్యం , జాతీయ వర్కింగ్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ రాగ అరుణ్ కుమార్ పాల్గొని సంయుక్తంగా మీడియాతో మాట్లాడారు.
సమావేశానికి ముఖ్య అతిథిగా విచ్చేసిన ఆర్. కృష్ణయ్య మాట్లాడుతూ, “బీసీలకు 42 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లు రాజ్యాంగబద్ధమైన హక్కు. పాత విధానంలో 17 శాతంతో ఎన్నికలకు వెళ్లడం అన్యాయం. ఇది బీసీల ఆత్మగౌరవాన్ని దెబ్బతీసే చర్య” అని తీవ్రంగా విమర్శించారు.
గత ఏడాది కాలంలో వందకు పైగా ధర్నాలు, ర్యాలీలు, నిరాహార దీక్షలు, సత్యాగ్రహాలు నిర్వహించినప్పటికీ ప్రభుత్వం స్పందించలేదని అన్నారు. “రాష్ట్ర బంద్ కూడా విజయవంతంగా నిర్వహించాం. అయినా ప్రభుత్వం గుడ్డిగా ముందుకు సాగుతోంది. ఈ నెల 23న ఎన్నికల నోటిఫికేషన్ జారీ చేయాలని చూస్తే అది బలవంతపు చర్యగా భావిస్తాం” అని పేర్కొన్నారు.
హైకోర్టులో కేసు పెండింగ్లో ఉన్న సమయంలో ఎన్నికలకు వెళ్లడం ప్రజాస్వామ్య స్ఫూర్తికి విరుద్ధమని ఆయన అభిప్రాయపడ్డారు. “కోర్టు తీర్పు బీసీల పక్షానే వస్తుందనే భయంతోనే తొందరపడుతున్నారు. 42 శాతం అమలు చేయకపోతే మంత్రులను నియోజకవర్గాల్లో తిరగనివ్వం” అని హెచ్చరించారు.
రాజకీయ పార్టీల ద్వంద వైఖరిని ఎండగట్టిన ఆయన, “బీసీలను తక్కువ అంచనా వేయొద్దు. ఇది చారిత్రాత్మక పోరాటం. ఇప్పుడే సాధించకపోతే భవిష్యత్తులో సాధ్యం కాదు” అన్నారు.
గుజ్జ సత్యం మాట్లాడుతూ, రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా 20న ధర్నాలు, దీక్షలు, నిరసనలు చేపట్టాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. “బీసీ ఉద్యమం ఇప్పుడు పల్లె పల్లెకు, ఇంటింటికి చేరింది. ఎవరు అడ్డుకున్నా ఆగదు. ప్రజలే ముందుకు నడిపించే ఉద్యమమిది” అన్నారు.
బీసీ సంఘాల నాయకులను బెదిరించడం, ఉద్యమాలను నీరుగార్చే కుట్రలు చేయడం తగదని హెచ్చరించారు. “బీసీల హక్కులు చట్టబద్ధమైనవి, న్యాయబద్ధమైనవి. ప్రభుత్వం తక్షణమే 42 శాతం రిజర్వేషన్లపై స్పష్టత ఇవ్వాలి. లేకపోతే రాష్ట్రవ్యాప్తంగా జరిగే నిరసనలకు ప్రభుత్వం బాధ్యత వహించాలి” అని స్పష్టం చేశారు.
జాతీయ వర్కింగ్ ప్రెసిడెంట్ రాగ అరుణ్ కుమార్ మాట్లాడుతూ, ఇతర రాష్ట్రాల్లో రిజర్వేషన్లపై కోర్టు తీర్పులు వచ్చినప్పటికీ అక్కడి బీసీలు అంతగా స్పందించలేదని, కానీ తెలంగాణలో మాత్రం బీసీలు ఐక్యంగా నిలబడుతున్నారని అన్నారు.
“ఇది చివరి పోరాటం. 42 శాతం సాధించకపోతే బీసీల రాజకీయ భవిష్యత్తు దెబ్బతింటుంది. యువత, విద్యార్థులు, మహిళలు అందరూ ఈ ఉద్యమంలో భాగస్వాములు కావాలి” అని పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
సమావేశంలో 14 బీసీ సంఘాల ప్రతినిధులు పాల్గొని, ఐక్యంగా పోరాటాన్ని కొనసాగించాలని తీర్మానించారు. 20న రాష్ట్ర వ్యాప్తంగా నిర్వహించే నిరసన కార్యక్రమాలను విజయవంతం చేయాలని నిర్ణయించారు.

BC Groups Warn of Intensified Protest Over 42% Reservation in Telangana
Hyderabad, February 18: As the demand for BC Reservation 42 Percent Telangana intensifies, 14 Backward Class (BC) organizations have warned of escalating protests if the government fails to implement the quota in the upcoming Telangana MPTC ZPTC Elections BC Reservation process.
At a meeting held in Hyderabad under the banner of the BC Welfare Association India, key leaders including Rajya Sabha MP R. Krishnaiah, National Vice President Gujja Sathyam, and National Working President Raga Arun Kumar addressed the media and outlined their future course of action as part of the growing Telangana BC Movement 2026.
Speaking on the occasion, R. Krishnaiah strongly asserted that the Backward Classes Reservation 42 Percent is a constitutional right and criticized the continuation of the old 17% quota system. “Going ahead with elections under the outdated quota is unjust and undermines the self-respect of BC communities,” he said, reinforcing the ongoing R Krishnaiah BC Reservation stance.
He further stated that despite organizing over 100 protests, including rallies, hunger strikes, and the Telangana BC Bandh Protest, the government has remained unresponsive. “If the election notification is issued on the 23rd without implementing the 42% reservation, it will be seen as a forced and undemocratic move,” he warned, adding that proceeding while the BC Reservation Court Case Telangana is pending violates democratic principles.
Highlighting the growing momentum of the BC Rights Telangana Movement, Krishnaiah cautioned political leaders not to underestimate BCs. “This is a historic struggle. If we fail now, it may never be possible again,” he emphasized, reflecting the broader BC Reservation Demand India narrative.
Gujja Satyam called for statewide protests on the 20th, urging people to participate in large numbers. “The Gujja Sathyam BC Protest call is spreading from villages to every household. This is a people-driven BC Protest Telangana, and it cannot be stopped,” he declared.
He also warned against attempts to suppress the movement, stating that BC rights are both legal and legitimate. “The government must immediately clarify its stand on Telangana Political Reservation BC. Otherwise, it will be held responsible for the intensifying protests,” he added, aligning the issue with the broader Social Justice Movement Telangana BC.
Raga Arun Kumar noted that while BC communities in other states have not responded strongly despite court rulings, Telangana has witnessed unprecedented unity. “This is the final phase of the BC Leaders Protest Hyderabad. If we fail to secure 42% reservation now, the political future of BCs will be at risk,” he said, urging youth, students, and women to actively join the movement.
Leaders from 14 BC organizations unanimously resolved to continue their united struggle and ensure the success of the statewide protests scheduled for the 20th, further strengthening the ongoing Telangana BC Movement 2026.
