Mahesh Kumar Goud alleges 92 lakh votes deleted in Telangana

Hyderabad: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president Mahesh Kumar Goud has launched a sharp attack on the BJP-led government at the Centre, alleging that the Modi government is attempting to undermine democracy and manipulate the electoral process.

Speaking to the media near Lok Bhavan, Mahesh Kumar Goud said people across the country were closely watching the way the Modi government was functioning and urged citizens to remain alert to what he described as threats to democracy.

Mahesh Kumar Goud alleges ‘Vote Chori’

Mahesh Kumar Goud alleged that “vote chori” was taking place openly in the country and questioned the functioning of the Election Commission of India.

According to Mahesh Kumar Goud, the protection of every eligible voter’s right is fundamental to a democratic system. He alleged that attempts to remove eligible voters from electoral rolls could undermine the democratic process.

The TPCC chief said the Congress was conducting its protest through democratic means and would continue to raise the issue of electoral transparency and voter rights.

‘BJP targeting Telangana after Bihar and West Bengal’

Mahesh Kumar Goud alleged that after Bihar and West Bengal, Telangana was now being targeted by the BJP government.

He further alleged that the BJP and BRS had colluded to remove 92 lakh votes in Telangana. The allegation has become a major political issue in the state, with the Congress raising concerns over voter lists and the electoral process.

Mahesh Kumar Goud demanded clarity and accountability over the alleged deletion of 92 lakh votes in Telangana, stressing that eligible voters must not be deprived of their constitutional right to vote.

Attack on CEC Gyanesh Kumar

The TPCC president also launched a strong attack on Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar, alleging that the Election Commission was failing to protect democratic institutions.

Mahesh Kumar Goud accused the CEC of undermining democracy and demanded the immediate resignation of Gyanesh Kumar.

He said the Election Commission must function independently and transparently and ensure that every eligible citizen’s name remains protected in the electoral rolls.

‘Our movement will not stop’

Mahesh Kumar Goud made it clear that the Congress would continue its agitation until action was taken against CEC Gyanesh Kumar.

“We are protesting democratically to protect democracy and the voting rights of the people,” he said, while calling upon citizens to remain vigilant.

The Telangana Congress has been highlighting voter-list issues and alleged irregularities as part of its wider political campaign. The allegations surrounding 92 lakh votes in Telangana are expected to remain a key political issue in the coming days.

Mahesh Kumar Goud questions Modi and Amit Shah’s record

Mahesh Kumar Goud also questioned the performance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the past 12 years.

He asked people to assess how much the Modi government had benefited the country during its years in power and urged citizens to examine the government’s record critically.

The Congress leader alleged that political power was being used to weaken democratic institutions and called for stronger public scrutiny of the electoral system.

Telangana voter list issue intensifies

The allegations made by Mahesh Kumar Goud have added to the ongoing political debate over the Telangana voter list, voter deletions and electoral transparency.

The Congress is demanding greater transparency in the voter-list revision process and protection of eligible voters. The issue of 92 lakh votes has emerged as one of the key talking points in Telangana politics.

The BJP and other political opponents are expected to respond to the allegations, while the Election Commission remains at the centre of the political debate.

For the Telangana Congress, however, the message is clear: the party intends to continue its campaign on voter rights, vote chori and electoral transparency.

Mahesh Kumar Goud reiterated that the Congress movement would continue until its concerns over the electoral process are addressed and accountability is ensured.
