హైదరాబాద్, సెప్టెంబర్ 23: హైదరాబాద్‌ కొత్తపేటలో త్వరలో ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్న 33 అడుగుల ఆచార్య కొండా లక్ష్మణ్ బాపూజీ విగ్రహావిష్కరణ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి ఎ. రేవంత్ రెడ్డిని పద్మశాలి సామాజిక ప్రముఖులు ఆహ్వానించారు. విగ్రహావిష్కరణ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి హాజరై కొండా లక్ష్మణ్ బాపూజీ విగ్రహాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించాలని కోరుతూ పద్మశాలి కార్పొరేషన్ చైర్మన్లు, అఖిల భారత పద్మశాలి సంఘం, తెలంగాణ పద్మశాలి సంఘం నాయకులు, ఇతర పద్మశాలి సామాజిక ప్రముఖులు సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డిని కలిసి ఆహ్వానం అందించారు.

33 అడుగుల భారీ విగ్రహం ఏర్పాటు

తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమం, స్వాతంత్ర్య సమరం, సామాజిక సేవా రంగాల్లో విశిష్ట సేవలు అందించిన ఆచార్య కొండా లక్ష్మణ్ బాపూజీ స్మారకంగా కొత్తపేటలో 33 అడుగుల భారీ విగ్రహాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేయడానికి ఏర్పాట్లు జరుగుతున్నాయి. ఈ విగ్రహం హైదరాబాద్‌లోని కొత్తపేట ప్రాంతంలో కొండా లక్ష్మణ్ బాపూజీ సేవలు, పోరాట స్ఫూర్తికి ప్రతీకగా నిలిచేలా ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నట్లు నిర్వాహకులు తెలిపారు.

కొండా లక్ష్మణ్ బాపూజీకి సంబంధించిన జ్ఞాపకాలను భవిష్యత్ తరాలకు అందించేందుకు ఆయన విగ్రహాల ఏర్పాటు, వర్ధంతి కార్యక్రమాలు తెలంగాణవ్యాప్తంగా కొనసాగుతున్నాయి. ఇటీవల కూడా వివిధ జిల్లాల్లో పద్మశాలి సంఘాలు, సామాజిక సంస్థలు కొండా లక్ష్మణ్ బాపూజీ వర్ధంతిని నిర్వహించి ఆయన సేవలను స్మరించుకున్నాయి.

సీఎం రేవంత్ రెడ్డికి పద్మశాలి నాయకుల ఆహ్వానం

కొత్తపేటలో ప్రతిష్ఠాత్మకంగా ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్న 33 అడుగుల కొండా లక్ష్మణ్ బాపూజీ విగ్రహావిష్కరణ కార్యక్రమానికి ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డిని ఆహ్వానించడం జరిగింది. పద్మశాలి కార్పొరేషన్ చైర్మన్లు, అఖిల భారత పద్మశాలి సంఘం నాయకులు, తెలంగాణ పద్మశాలి సంఘం నాయకులు, ఇతర పద్మశాలి సామాజిక ప్రముఖులు ముఖ్యమంత్రిని కలిసి కార్యక్రమానికి హాజరు కావాలని కోరారు.

తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమంలో బాపూజీకి ప్రత్యేక స్థానం

ఆచార్య కొండా లక్ష్మణ్ బాపూజీ తెలంగాణ చరిత్రలో ప్రముఖ వ్యక్తిగా గుర్తింపు పొందారు. స్వాతంత్ర్య సమరయోధుడిగా, మాజీ మంత్రిగా, తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమ నేతగా ఆయన ప్రజా జీవితంలో కీలక పాత్ర పోషించారు. ప్రత్యేక తెలంగాణ రాష్ట్ర సాధన కోసం తన రాజకీయ పదవిని సైతం త్యాగం చేసిన నాయకుడిగా ఆయనను పలువురు స్మరించుకుంటున్నారు. 2026 సెప్టెంబర్ 21న ఆయన 14వ వర్ధంతి సందర్భంగా తెలంగాణలోని పలు ప్రాంతాల్లో ఆయనకు నివాళులర్పించారు.

కొత్తపేటలో ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్న 33 అడుగుల కొండా లక్ష్మణ్ బాపూజీ విగ్రహం హైదరాబాద్‌లోని ప్రముఖ సామాజిక స్మారకాల్లో ఒకటిగా నిలిచేలా కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించేందుకు పద్మశాలి సంఘాల నాయకులు, సామాజిక ప్రముఖులు సన్నాహాలు చేస్తున్నారు. ముఖ్యమంత్రి రేవంత్ రెడ్డి కార్యక్రమానికి హాజరవుతారా అనే అంశంపై అధికారిక కార్యక్రమ షెడ్యూల్ వెలువడాల్సి ఉంది.

33-Foot Konda Laxman Bapuji Statue to Be Installed in Kothapet; Padmashali Leaders Invite CM Revanth Reddy

Hyderabad, September 23, 2026: Preparations are underway for the installation of a 33-foot statue of Acharya Konda Laxman Bapuji at Kothapet in Hyderabad. As part of the preparations, Padmashali community leaders have invited Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy to attend and inaugurate the proposed Konda Laxman Bapuji statue.

Padmashali Corporation chairpersons, representatives of the Akhila Bharata Padmashali Sangam, leaders of the Telangana Padmashali Sangam, and other prominent members of the Padmashali community met Chief Minister Revanth Reddy and extended an invitation to him to participate in the 33-foot Konda Laxman Bapuji statue inauguration ceremony.

The Telangana government currently lists A. Revanth Reddy as the Chief Minister of Telangana.

The proposed 33-foot Konda Laxman Bapuji statue in Kothapet is being planned as a prominent memorial commemorating the life and public service of Acharya Konda Laxman Bapuji.

Konda Laxman Bapuji was a freedom fighter and a prominent figure associated with the Telangana movement. Historical accounts record his participation in the freedom struggle and his involvement in the movement for Telangana statehood. The delegation comprising Padmashali Corporation chairpersons, Akhila Bharata Padmashali Sangam leaders, Telangana Padmashali Sangam leaders and other Padmashali community personalities highlighted the significance of the proposed 33-foot statue and invited the Chief Minister to participate in the programme.

The proposed event is expected to bring together Padmashali community representatives, social leaders and admirers of Konda Laxman Bapuji.

Konda Laxman Bapuji’s Contribution to Telangana

Konda Laxman Bapuji remains an important name in the history of Telangana. Sources documenting his life state that he participated in the struggle against the Nizam and later played a role in the Telangana statehood movement. He resigned from ministerial office in 1969 in connection with the demand for a separate Telangana state.

His public life also included work related to social and cooperative organisations. His contribution to the Padmashali community and his association with the broader Telangana movement have continued to be remembered through commemorative programmes and memorial initiatives.

Speaking in connection with the proposed Konda Laxman Bapuji statue in Kothapet, Gujja Sathyam, National Vice President of the National BC Welfare Association and State Coordinator of BC JAC, is associated with the initiative to commemorate Bapuji’s legacy.

The 33-foot Konda Laxman Bapuji statue is being positioned as a symbol of remembrance of his contribution to Telangana, public life and social causes.
