The team reportedly spent around five days tracking the dance group to establish their identity and locate the people involved in the unusual snake dance in Hyderabad.
The investigation eventually led to the identification of the Visakha-based dance group with the assistance of Madhuranagar Police.
Indian Rock Python Rescued
With the assistance of Madhuranagar Police, the Visakha dance group was traced, and the Indian Rock Python was recovered from them.
The python was subsequently taken into the custody of the police and GHSPCA team as part of the action following the incident.
The recovery of the Indian Rock Python has brought the use of a live snake in a public dance performance into focus.
